Areas of Focus

01

Maternal–Child Health

Risk assessment that supports early intervention and timely action, and multidisciplinary emergency obstetric simulation using AHRQ TeamSTEPPS and SBAR communication.

02

Health Equity

Advancing equitable care through awareness, action, and advocacy — and building cultures of inclusiveness and belonging in nursing.

03

Strength-Based Leadership

Operationalizing strength-based leadership to enhance performance, nurse job satisfaction, and retention in environments of psychological safety.

04

Nursing Education

Former lead professor for maternal–newborn nursing, curriculum committee chair, and department chair, with advanced preparation as a Nurse Educator.

“Meaningful and sustained change occurs when accountability evolves into ownership.”

Accountability is rooted in external expectations; ownership is internally driven. Her leadership fosters psychological safety, where curiosity, transparency, and critical dialogue strengthen both individual practice and team performance.
